Okay guys! Last one I promise. I know I personally have enjoyed looking at my year through these new eyes, by which I mean clickable snippets. Let’s take a look at the end of the year before moving on to more exciting recap action, shall we? P.S. Alternate working title for these posts = Pingbacks a bitch. (My Blackberry sent me an individual email for every single one of these links. Oh yes it did.)
Year In Review: Part 4
October.
Laced up another theme week. Went to a Muse concert. Suffered insomnia but wore a cute dress. Got supplies for the finale and borrowed some style in between. Expressed my true feelings via t-shirt. Busted out the textured tights once more. Entered a blue phase. Stayed home on a Friday night, just like always. Started running again! Contemplated 10-10-10. Pleaded for a spot on Wheel of Fortune. Threatened to dress up as Justin Beiber for Halloween. Got cardigan-ready for winter. Celebrated sweater weather; with ice cream. Scored a secret skirt and scarfed it up. Ran a 5k at last! Told a cautionary tale against oversized skirts. Attempted thrifting in Wyoming. Foretold the coming of winter by the abundance of perfume gift sets. Tentatively titled my memoirs. Went cabining. Celebrated brown and red; worn together. Paid homage to Coco Chanel. Channeled Audrey once more. Got some fashion cues from a first lady. Shared my love for Frida Kahlo. Imitated Andy at long last. Borrowed some Twiggy style. Did my best Edie impression. Celebrated Halloween on the fly.
November.
Welcomed the final days of the project with some chagrin. Decided that two cardigans is even better than one. Enjoyed the final colors of fall. Wore a Christmas skirt in November and saw a comedy show. Got dressed in five minutes and it didn’t suck! Was grateful for daylight savings and ankle boots. Began winterizing spring favorites. Belted a jacket and thought it delightful. Attended the opera for the first time. Reached the final 50, just in time for winter. Accidently dressed like Minnie Mouse. Socialized to my heart’s content. Expressed dismay over my camera’s similarities to Madonna. Eked use out of the last of the unworn items. Spent all day sewing and almost didn’t blog. Fell a little in love with my new sweater. Got a backhanded compliment from a random stranger. Saw Brandon Flowers in concert. Rekindled my love for Diet Coke; and then some. Was in the minority re: my dislike of Thanksgiving foodstuffs. Found myself short on time. Decided to reconnect with my intention. Nearly froze to death in the name of fashion blogging. Saw blood at a real hockey game. Celebrated Thanksgiving and felt thankful to be near the end. Survived Black Friday and lived to tell. Initiated my Navy Blue Winter. Experienced YET another computer meltdown. The cold of winter sets in. Discovered the best leggings in the history of ever.
December.
Entered the final month of the project. Dressed like an 80s pirate. Attended a Christmas concert and pondered carols. Ran my best ever 5k race. Did a little dance for theme week. Scared a couple of people with makeshift sunglass eyepatch. Let it snow queen. Got a little sassy with a couple of skirts. Reunited with some funky ass tights. Decided I don’t believe in fairies; as outfits anyhow. Did a cool spin on the man of the hour. Baked approximately one million Christmas cookies. Did my best to maintain Christmas spirit. Still wore way too much orange. Discovered better living through showings of Christmas movies. Had pretty much the worst day ever. Saw The Nutcracker live on stage. Played Christmas Cookie Ambassador as an excuse to wear a new scarf. Resolved to finish the project once and for all. Attempted to make a sweater vest cool. Experienced major energy failure, but kept on. Continued to dress like an old lady. Taunted readers with promises of ugly Christmas sweaters. Survived Christmas Eve AND saw “The Black Swan“. Celebrated Christmas in one helluva sweater. Braved horizontal stripes the day after holiday feasting. Coined the term Victorian Hussy. Pontificated the ins and outs of making resolutions. Took one final turn in fashion blogger garb. Bid farewell to daily posting. Finished with a bang!
Thanks for playing along! More fun to come, so stay tuned!
